Al Najma wins GCC Handball Clubs Cup

Bahrain’s Al Najma has won the 38th GCC Handball Clubs Cup, which was held in Kuwait City on June 4-12. Seven teams representing GCC countries competed in the tournament.

Al Najma clinched the coveted trophy for the sixth time in its history, after beating Saudi Mudher handball team 30-24 in the final match. The Bahraini team led 18-12 at the end of the first half of the match.

Al Najma clinched the cup in Sharjah (1984), Bahrain (1985), A; Ain (1990), Doha ( 1998) and Bahrain (2001).
