‘Medals are cool’

On Instagram, Ali expressed his gratitude for his milestone, saying that getting “medals are cool,” but “it matters how you get them.”

“Tough fights this weekend. While it wasn’t flawless, I was able to showcase a new and improved style I’ve been honing over the summer,” he wrote in the caption.

Ali added, “Medals are cool, but it matters how you get them.”

According to Abu Dhabi Jiu Jitsu Pro (AJP), Ali achieved 5600 points during the AJP tour 2023-2024 in the Men’s Professional Black 23-24. This made him clinch the rank 20 on the global list while bagging the first spot in Asia and the Gulf region.
