Bahrain Table Tennis Association chairperson wins another term

Manama, Nov.19 (BNA): Incumbent Bahrain Table Tennis Association Chairperson Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al-Khalifa will be reelected uncontested for a new term (2020-2024) on December8.

The Bahrain Table Tennis Association close the door of candidacies in the presence of secretary-general Ibrahim Siadi and two representatives of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

The association will hold an annual assembly meeting on December 8 and endorse a new term for the incumbent chairperson Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al-Khalifa who was nominated by A’ali and Al-Ittifaq clubs.

Six candidates out of 9 in the fray will be elected as board members on the same date. The candidates are Ali Abd Ali Al-Madih (nominated by Bahrain and A’ali clubs), Mohammed Abdulwahab Boukamal (Bahrain Club), Bashir Jaffer Al-Alawi (Al-Ittifaq), Salman Youssef Salman (Tubli), Abduljalil Abdulnabi Abdulla (Busaiteen and Al-Ittifaq), Jaffer Hadi Mahfoudh (Saar Club), Hussein Ali Khalaf (Saar Club), Faisal Said Jawad (Barbar).
