Bahrain’s senior men’s football national team embarked on their journey to Australia to compete in the opening game of the third round of Asian qualifying for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The football team is set to face their world number 24 opponents, Australia, on September 5 as their first assignment in Group C, which will be held at Robina Stadium in the Gold Coast, Eastern Australia.
The game will kick off at 1:10 p.m. (Bahrain Time).
After playing against Australia, the national team will return to Bahrain.
On September 10, they will host Asia’s top-ranked team and world number 18, Japan.
