Bahrain’s national billiard team sweep off gold medals at the 2024 Arab Billiard and Snooker Championship

Bahrain is continuing to cement its status when it comes to billiards.

Case in point: Hussein Marom and Ibrahim Qaider Wahidar Marom of the Kingdom’s billiard team bag gold medals in the 10-ball doubles competition of the Arab Billiard and Snooker Championship competitions held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This came after they defeated the Saudi national team in the final match by 11 to 9 wickets.

Likewise, Haider Marum from the national billiard junior team also clinched the gold medal in the men’s under-17 singles 10-ball billiards competition.

He defeated Kuwaiti Mohamed Al-Husseinan by seven to two in the ten-ball competition, in the tournament.

There are 13 nations from across the region competing in the tournament, and Bahrain is currently among the leading delegations headed by BBSDF board member Hussain Bubshait and administrator Hamad Dhaif.
