LeBron, Bronny James make history as the first father-son duo in the NBA

History has been made!

LeBron James and his son Bronny James wrote history as the first father-son duo to play together in the NBA.

This came after they rocked the hard court together for the Los Angeles Lakers in a pre-season match against the Phoenix Suns, which coincidentally happened on Bronny’s 20th birthday.

Although they were beaten 118-114 in the second pre-season game ahead of the regular season, James Sr. took to X to express his emotions, calling the event surreal.

“WOW THAT WAS SURREAL!!” he wrote.

Prior to this, he also uploaded some photos on his Instagram account together with his son, calling them “pure joy” and a “dream” realized.

James Sr., who turns 40 at the end of the year, makes a comeback to the NBA floor after capturing his third gold medal in Olympic basketball with Team USA in Paris in 2024.

Meanwhile, his son Bronny was chosen with the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft by the Lakers back in June.
