What’s inside the box given to medal winners at Paris Olympics?

Olympic champions receive medals on the podium and a sleek gold box. What exactly is in it?

The official Olympics website states that a special box, approximately 40 centimeters in size, holds the official event poster designed by Illustrator Ugo Gattoni. This box is presented to the winners during the awarding ceremony.

In creating the vibrant posters, Gattoni dedicated nearly 2,000 hours to the design process. The posters showcase the Paris 2024 logo, the iconic Eiffel Tower adorned with a “XXXIII Olympiade” sign, and various venues utilized during the games.

The Paris 2024 logo in the poster depends on the medal the athlete won.

Meanwhile, podium finishers with either gold, silver, or bronze medals also received stuffed Olympic Phryges made at the Doudou & Compagnie factory in La Guerche-de-Bretagne.
